I think you'll do best if you ask Nifflas directly.

I think someone should think of bringing the concept to a higher level and add some input parameters: mood, main instruments, tempo etc. These titles here are completely random.

I once asked Aeuk to say a sentence while I was finishing a little deathmetal experiment and couldn't come up with a good name. Well, aeuk said: F*** this work (he didn't know I was going to use his sentence as a song name).
Guess I've no other weird song names.

I once did it the other way around. I asked for a song title in an IRC channel, and the first reply I got was 'Tawny the Pornstar Goes to Town'. I then sat down and made a little tune that fit the title, complete with furniture creaking (it was a sampled office chair, but could as well have been a bed) as part of the rhythm section. It was a very boring tune though, made in very short time, and it's never been released. |

Zepsi - 29/8? Thats pretty weird. You should try something that continuously switches between 7/8, 13/8 and 9/16 - then we can start calling you a progressive artist; if you make a song out of only C and C# then you can have the title of 1336.9.
As for me, I never have weird song titles.

My 29/8 was a lot simpler than that though. The simplest 29/8 there is: 7/8 7/8 7/8 8/8. Would perhaps be more appropriate to call it a 7/8 rhythm with an extra beat

Or just 7/8 with 4/4 every fourth measure. I did that about 5:24 into: "2 Minutes Avant le Coucher du Soleil Réjouir Sous la Lune du Crépuscule Minuit au Lakeside Lever de Soleil au-dessus des Montagnes Neigeuses."
It's a fun thing to write with. |
