I really think CTG needs that compo, all people have waited. It would be atleast small activity boost. First there was huge prices, but what about forgetting those big prices and do this just for fun. Maybe there could be some prices besides fame and glory  banner(s) and interview(s) would do it. I hope ace likes this and makes it official otherwise We will do it unofficially. I don't really have much ideas, so if you got any don't hasitate to bring 'em up. I will do as much as I can to make this happen and I promice I'll participate if this will happen.
I even thought up some rules that probably will change when something better comes up and making rules better we need You.
- First of all I think deadline would be 20th June, 2004 (can be changed if better day comes your mind  )
- All programs can be used, no matter what? From trackers to software studios.
- Formats that would be agreed would be mp3 and ogg.
- Winner would be decided: All participating people would release track before deadline in ctg and give link of it in forum (this topic). Then when deadline closes and everyone has link here in this topic of his song. Then he pick up three (3) track of his favorite tracks in this compo and send pm to me. Maybe people that won't participate would pick their favorites too 
3 points to his/her favorite
2 points to alternative favorite
1 point to his 3rd pick
All points will be given before 25th June, 2004 and I do the math and winners and all of your rank will be released here in 27th June, 2004.
Prices would be like:
1st place - Interview, banner and maybe some special tag on artistpage (if ace likes it)
2nd place - Interview, banner
3rd place - banner
.
.
.
and rest of people will get nothing, except fun 
And ofcourse all people would get more fame and get more popular in here.
If you have any suggestion and didn't understand something, just let me know. I think I confused all of you big time . Hope ace likes this idea, but this is still on developing

I really want a ctg compo, and don't have to win anything at all. I would even do a compo without prices.
But we need to look up some funny rule like: 'atleast one original thing in it'. Or: you may not compose a style that you've done before.

Well i posted info about plans in the "Reason OHC" topic.
The idea is to build compo pages where we can organize weekly/monthy/one hour compos when ever we want to. 
Each compo would have some rules and deadline, we could also arrange prizes.
There will be full system for uploading and rating so basicly we can start up compo when ever we want then.
So just wait some 2 weeks

I think everyone should do whatever he wants to do and what he believe in
Rules can be modified if it needs to be. Let's see what ace think of this. I think that style winner(s) should be picked is nice. You see when their favorites comes in pm you don't know who win, in advance I think I'm not the best to do the math since I will partisipate, so we need someone who doesn't partisipate and does not chat in counting and have skills to count

I wouldn't like that. Well, I would, but I think its better to do one compo, since manymany ppl will join and it will result into a HUGE top 3..

Why don't we just forget about that one hour compo and do one bigger and I really like that style how winner should be picked. This idea is better. I need backup people ace got too much power  . Looks like we need to do this unofficially, since ace dumped this awesome idea  . Who's still in?

I think I didn't understand or just missed main point. I don't get that "huge top 3". You mean like huge amount of points or what. I'm dumbass

1st (200000 points)
2nd (20000 points)
3rd (2000 points)

I think OHC is nice, but nothing more. a compo annouced 2 months before deadline on a site like this would garantee to be a huge compo with huge songs, and awesome winners. It might even get as famous as 2nd..

So what? We will make this bigger than upcoming one-hour-compo or whatever. No prices (since we have no power), but much people and much fun
