Does anyone know a way to receive FM Radio through a computer? It just happens to be that I can get the station I want on the net, but that is not really relevent. I want to know if it is theoretically possible. If it is, is it expensive or difficult to do? Thanks! =]

Go to www.di.fm, best radio you ever need and second is ctg radio, which is currently offline

Sorry man perhaps I didn't explain myself properly. What I meant was are you able to receive the same stations that you can on your stereo through frequency modulation or amplitude modulation (not there are any good stations on am)? Don't worry, I love DI, but dialup restricts me to bad bitrates...

well it's not really possible, since the FM range isn't too long and a channel in another country cannot be heard in another because of the distance...
the person sending the FM broadcast can send it to online broadcast too, but if he doesn't then there is no way to hear it.. the problem to that is atleast in finland is that every radio have to pay expensis for artists and labels for playing their material, and using online radio you need to pay another expensis for another type of broadcast, so you get 2times more stuff to pay...
theoreticly someone who is listening to an FM broadcast could also broadcast it to online for you to hear, but it's quite a small change that someone does that for the channel you wanna hear, and even smaller change you find the guy

Try rgrfm (69 hits)
It's a Belgian radio station that plays a lot of hardstyle music.
Click on the "live" button in the upper right corner and choose your format 
I streamrip their livemix on saturdays almost every week

If you want to receive standard FM radio signal through your pc, you need a special card, called radio-tuner or something like that. Then you just connect the antena into the card and here you go! But this thing costs, I don't know how much though, ask in some shops.

yes but like i explained the problem is that you can still listen to your normal FM stations only, which you can listen with normal radio, so why bother using cpu
ALTHOUGH... digi radios are coming, some of the most known radio stations are broadcasted digitally nowadays, so that would mean that you can receive those with computer, theoreticly speaking...
