I recently bought fruityloops v. 4.1 but whenever i open it some of the sounds that i put into a channel turn the channel tab red and i cant hear anything. I think i might need to buy a sound pack or something cause this is really bothering me. It looks like its playing it but there is no sound coming from it. There are a few sounds i can get so i know its nothing to do with the volume...
anything can help, thanks

So you bought it? Then check out manual what came with it  And there is topic for Fryity problems in here.

this may sound insulting, but it's not since the problem probaly is...
that you have a warez version and not all the samples are included, so if FL can't find a sample the channel goes red..
use different samples or buy the real version and it works.

yeah but that's why i said "this may be insulting" but the problem he is having is a problem with warez, a lot of people have complained it in various of forums, so honestly i don't think he has bought it.

i'm not accusing anyone, i just said that's probably the problem.
although i'm not completely sure if the samples do exist but they have no audio in them, or are the samples completely missing.
since you said you loaded the samples to sampler? if so check from audio editor if the samples have any audio in them.

Try the looptalk forums at www.flstudio.com if you can't get help here. While there you can also get the latest version, which is 4.5.2. What "sounds" is it that don't work, VSTi's, DXi's or fruity plugins? Or do you mean samples? Why do you think you need to buy a soundpack, how can you put sounds you don't have?
Some of the fruity plugins are demo versions, and you won't be able to save those tracks. Is that it? If so, you can see it by reading the text "demo version" in their windows |
