Why does my download manager think this is an html file and then open it in Windows Media Player? The result of this is that I cannot save it, and because it will take 5-6 hours to download, this would be a complete waste of my time. What should I do?

Did you use the right mouse click and "save target as" or did you click on the link?
Well IE quite often opens media files directly in browser so you have to do "save target as" or you can use Opera for downloading files since there it always works smooth.

I went to properties and copied and pasted the link into my download manager, as I have a 5 hour session limit and if the dl isnt completed by then, it is wasted. Wrong thing to do?

Getright should solve your problems.
Should you be disconected before it finishes, you are able to dll from where it left
the next time

Or you can drop the Microsoft IE crap and get Mozilla firefox 
It has a build in download manager. If your disconnected, just hit the resume key in the download window.....
And did I mentioned it was totaly free?  |

Oh, I was little confused, I thought he was accusing Astar for ripping lyrics and using those on his own track, which includes no vocals nor lyrics 
It was all about missunderstanding, so no problem.
