Hi guys,

Im looking for some really full on strong string samples for my gf to use in FL, shes into making trance and i have a shortage of decent trance samples, im guessing shes after something like 'Adagio For Strings' (ferry corsten RMX) type sound, anyone know where i can get ahold of samples like these? :?:

I think you should browse the patches for synths which you have in fruity (wasp, dreamstation, 3xosc...). Im sure you can find solid strings there which can work very good with some little modification/equalization.
Best strings collection i have is "Analog night" which is full cd of synths but this is a refill so it only works in reason though you can always export them :yes:

aggreed i should try creating some sounds for myself - tho my girl friend on the other hand - teaching her how to open FL was a massive task :eyes:

You surely mean American composer Samuel Barber's "Adagio for Strings", his most famous work, written for film orchestra and that, apparently, has been remixed by that one RMX, right? He probably used strings froma recording of real strings, since the original is a classical piece.

Cheese Strings are great, but they are synthy. As vintage synth strings they work tremendously well. You can't use them as real strings, though.
