Might be a bit late for this but I used to use a program called "Socks2HTTP" to bypass a firewall. It was a bit of a mission to set up though, but search for it on Google if you still need it and reply if you can't get it working, though I don't use it anymore so only really remember how to set it up from memory.

Why, you mean Winamp 5 has proxy support? I just checked and it only has a field for entering a proxy server, but when I was behind a firewall at university I had to authenticate myself with a user/pass as well, which I could do with that program.
