Do you guys know anything to do when your in a melody breakdown  everything i try doesnt sound good so if anyone has something to do to learn making better melody's just let me know thnxx

i often start the process by trying to write a good melody, and when i get a good melody done i do rest of the track. that way the main melody won't be boring and uncatchy. also sometimes i write just melodies and save if i get something good done, so someday when i'm not inspirated to create a good melody, but have a song in progress i can take one from my hd.

usually i make some loops, sound fx, play with VSTs (though it`s only true for this year) and stuff like that require time and they can be handy if i have the mood to `compose` (a bit pompous ) something. actually this was the case with my last song too, i made the tabla loop a month before the song 
but sometimes there`s no harm in having a rest, do something different, too

sounds nice what a98 says only i never learned to play the piano so its more dificult for me but i want to become like Xeegee and Acecream they are awesome good and never learned any piano
btw its been a month now sinds i released a last track and i don't like breaks i allways want to be busy with music

I have 2 suggestions:
1) Take yourself outside. Dont lock yourslef in a boring room. Get out, walk around in different invironments, town, woods, etc... Dont search the music, the music will find you.
2) Just play around on the keyboard

Very true. Works 100% I've tested it and currently use it too...

If you can't get the melody right away, don't frustrate, because after that you can forget all good melodies. All you'll do after frustration is pure bullshit, if this occurs go walk into outside, it works 100%
