well when you put it that way...
apprently there is 2 genres in the whole world, pop and trance. and now we gotta split everything to them 
this track is dance, maybe someone would call it poptrance because it's sounds are a bit inlfluenced of the 2000-2004 eurotrance sound. but trance itself is something totally different, it was born as a genre to get into trance, which explains the name. and trance is a lot more than just straight beat, 4chord melody and sawlead. trance is about progressions, evolving atmospheres, breaks, fills, hypnotic riffs, grooving rhythms, driving basslines, flowtating soundscapes.. and so on...

What the heck? Who cares what style this is! Some might like it and some might not...so let's get on with things.
I think for my part, the track is quite nice..., but there really is no use in remixing it, since the winning remix won't even get a label release. It only gets put on their homepage to download...  |

well that shouldn't be the only reason to remix in the first place. besides it says this in their site:
"The winners will be pleasantly awarded by placing their remix composition on our single!"

I guess you are right, that it shouldn't be the only reason to remix..., but still the offer isn't very appealing to me...
"The winners will be pleasantly awarded by placing their remix composition on our single!" is a missunderstanding. What they mean, is on their single to download. This is the answer I got to the e-mail I sent:
"Probably it will be downloadable from Internet only."
