It's summer time and people go outside enjoying the sun, having cold drinks, checking out girls... :eyes: Here's an idea: DON'T! :angry: Get back inside (it would be also acceptable to carry your pc outside for this) and have some fun with us! :yes:

If you like oldzkool compos you'll like this idea: Make a tune with the music tool of Mario Paint :bravo: obScene was so nice to supply some links where you can download a SNES Emulator and the Mario Paint Rom.

Now all we need are some contestants, maybe some time for people to check it out, the rules and we can go for it :yes: Write what you think about it below :badass:

I'm in! Im heading back to my parents house today and I will probably just bring the SNES back with me so I can do it will the real thing! :D

So what are the rules specifically? Mario Paint, and nothing else? Will be hard!

I think someone wrote about that in Flexburg's topic. Of course you gotta record this in real time so just hit record in Sound Forge, Goldwave, or whatever you're using and open up your project in Mario Paint and hit play :yes: Then all you have to do it cut the silences off the beginning and the end. I think it's the only way... And make sure your recording device is set to something like "Stereo Mix" or "Mixed Output" so it records everything you hear :)

So will you join? I'm also in it :bravo: Hmm, we could also make a samplepack with the Mario Paint sounds and make a compo with that which would also bring interesting results but Flexburg's idea was to use a crappy program so maybe we should just use Mario Paint only :idea:
