Since it is just one day until the games start i belive it is a good idea to open an official topic which can be used to discuss the events and contests, for those who are interested into it.
So share your thoughs about the games, who are your favorites athletes, who are the ones you dislike and so on.

This proves how less I know about sports. I can not even mention one athlete 
What I now is that the olympic games of Athens are very expensive for the country. They didn't sell as much tickets as they expected. |

I can't wait for Romanian team to win some medals around here. I know only somebody who competed in games: Nadia Comaneci. Hope other Romanian trackers can give me more ideas. I know of Jesse Owens but he's dead.

too bad that Eric Moussambani may miss this olympics. there'll be no fun, just serious sportmen and sportwomen who had proper trainings 
(hint: Eric was the freestyle swimmer who had a nice struggle finishing the 100m distance at the Syndey Olympics back to 2000.)

I just know that the games are sponsored by McDonalds this time, and I find that quite ironic and a bit shameful.. but I guess that's just me again..

heh... im making a schedule to watch everythingim interested in.
I need to watch football, handball and athlethics.
I would also love to see beach volleyball, judo and taekwondo contests,
and table tennis.
How i will realize this... i realyl don't know.

check out the 100,000+ man counter-terrorist force they have. their whole navy has been utilized and as received additional men from NATO
