I finished splitt 6th out of 8 last time I was in!
Probably my last also 
Nha, compo is fun, fun fun! But many trackers are insanly good on tracking, haha!
And you cant get out any good music of a 100kb samplepack!

Hmm.. I should try those compo`s out sometime, sounds like fun
A few general questions:
What software is allowed? If trackers alone then, is VST [VST(i)] allowed? How can one be notified of those compo`s? What is the meaning of life? And why on earth does that [ ] smiley look so fag? |

Trackers only, no vsti's, vst's, etc. .IT .XM .MOD .S3M are only file types allowed, thats in standard OHC's though, like te ones I'm involved with.... I know there has been talk of Reason OHC's, etc etc.

I can understand why VST(i)`s are unallowed [totaly forgot that there are samplepacks], but why can`t one use VST?  |

People use Modplug Player and XMplay to playback songs during voting time. I'm not sure if these support. Even if they do, Vst's will still not be allowed by most OHC hosts, as its generally not seen as a 'true' tracker capability. There is still controversy over .IT filter's, but they are still accepted by most people. There is something 'special' about keeping an OHC like this, of course, primarily, OHC's are about fun, but there is a strong tie to the roots of tracking, which is perhaps the most special thing of all about them

So how do I know when an OHC is being held? |
