How would you like some hihat samples? They're avalible here. The .zip contains about 44 samples, all of the same hihat.
The numbers describes how they should be mapped. the first number is which key, on your keyboard, should be used for triggering that sample (you can start at any key, but place them in the right order). the last number, is which velocity zone it belongs to. v1 is the most silent, v4 is the most loud.
the last four samples (11) is striking the edge of the hihat, with the sticks.
Always play the samples at their orginal volume. They are not normalized. In other words, velocity should not affect the volume of the sounds. Only which sample is being played.

Well, I described how they're organized pretty bad. I realized, that you simply just listen to them, in the order of their filenames. You'll understand at once how I organized them, if you didn't already

Exactly. You never know when you'll need them. Besides, the piano will probably be useful. Of course they need heavy editing, but well, they're free. I posted another link in the topic you opened some months ago. It has AKAI samples, also free.
