The idea is to introduce a new system to our main page, which is a daily song compo. Songs will be picked up each day as: one random song from the non reviewed list, one random song from the promo song list and the 3rd will be the previous day winner. The system will be up and running in a week or so. So, do you like the idea?

I don't really understand to point of it, and how does voting works. Most votes wins? What if only 1 man is voting every day, then there's not much competivity 
Also, normally getting promoted was a real honour, but with this system it's like a everyday routine...

Yes the idea is like Audition Room on OSMusic.
Im sure more then just 1 person would vote per day(actualy that is what we are asking in this topic) since all 3 song will be listed on front page and all what you would have to do is to click on the "vote" button.
The vote will only count if you previously download the song, which can be a nice promotion for those 3 songs then.
This will be one more way to support active reviewers and to reduce non reviewed songs since as doriath wrote: 1 non reviewed and 1 promo song will qualify for the compo each day, together with the previous day winning song. 
And i think it can be even better honour if your song stays in the compo couple of days in a row as if it would be promote a couple of days.

I like the idea, but day-to-day compo is a little too quick to seriously monitor. I log on to CTG almost every day to see what's up but I know I'll never hope to catch up with a day-to-day compo.
How about making it 2/3 days or even a week instead? No one said it has to be symmetrical to day/week/month periods.. it could've been 3.5 days + 1/4th of a second, if it worked beter.. who cares..

Sounds interesting I'd certainly want to try it out and if voting can be done with a single click on the main page you won't have to worry about participants
