To Analisys: A98 is right. That's only because we need to guarantee to other peolple that the winner used only the right gears. I will look at buzz (if I can find it) to better understand the problem!

Yes, I've tested Solo in FLStudio. The new version is ok. Only a few days left... |

Can be any style 
You can use any instrument you want, any effect, any host, vocal parts, samples, etc.
Only one real limit on gears selection: the only synth be "Solo" and if any external effect is used with "Solo", to be one among those listed in www.sknote.it ("music" page).
So you can play (not only sample) your guitar or any other electric or acoustic instrument!
Don't forget to play a "Solo" solo! |

Second question : is it important to get a huge using of the solo vsti? i mean : i i want to make a poor saw without any effect and include it on the song, shall it be allowed? ^^'

Yes, of course you can!
But, keep attention: good use of the synth is a main parameter for selection of the winner. If you can achieve good results with simple gears is very good!
But some of the best songs ever written have only a few sounds... 
So: a GOOD use, not a HUGE use of the synth... |
