Is anyone here competent with XHTML and CSS design who doesn't mind me to bug them with some questions from time to time on MSN or ICQ?
I'm in the process of putting up the website for Atlantean Records here, and I don't really have the time to fiddle for weeks, or even months, trying to get somewhere with it, so if someone is willing to help out that'd be really great.
It's just annoying little things like how to get the text vertically centred on the navigation buttons or in the footer (I'm competent with table design, but divs are somehow beyond me), and as I said I don't have the time to learn it all in-depth. I'd rather just want someone to help out when I'm stuck with something so that I can learn much faster, without all the hassles, and only the things I need to know (I don't have the intention of becoming a web designer, but I don't have the money to pay someone for it either).
Of course you'll get a mention in the site's "About" section if you've helped out, and if you want me to return the favour I can always do something that involves post-production of your music.

You can try me  . I made one site in XHTML 1.1 so far, I'm currently working on another one, I think there's a slight possibility that I can be helpful at times.

Thanks, maybe I should just thank the whole of CTG. 
I think my problems are mostly browser bugs actually, but I wouldn't say no to your help.

Basically XHTML and divs are so frustrating that I'm now starting to build the site from scratch again for the nth time. Somewhere along the way I keep screwing it up.

DIVs were heaven to me when I first learned about them... Why do they frustrate you?

Probably the same reason coding frustrates me. I just don't think that way visually. I'm not sure what it is.
But thanks to DDspeed I'm now putting borders around all my container divs so I can keep track of things. The result can be seen here. I get the idea the problem I had before was that I wasn't clearing the divs or some crap like that, but I just don't have the time or patience to read tons of web pages to find out info about it, which I probably wouldn't find out anyway because of what I wrote earlier about coding.
