any war is good....all are pointless... but well we are only humans (mostly) so i guess we have this in our blood...

I think it's important to write about this kinda stuff. At least I think it's interesting to see what people from other sides of the world thinks of the war. My personal opinion is.... that I can't make up my mind about it. It's a moral dilemma. But maybe theres a better solution than war, at least there should be.

I agree, i have people form canada putting in their comments and germany so i just like to see what have to say, yes i am tired of it too, but its here no matter what!

a war is a war , and it cannot be compared with anything ! It is the worst thing that can happen (in the country you live for example)

that depends on what the war is fought for. the removal of sadam's regime will greatly increase stability in the middle east. you may think its bad for all those civilians that die but look on the other side too, how they live for example. some of them support sadam. the only reason they do that is because an entire generation was raised hearing nothing but 'sadam is great'. the rare few people there that have a tv dont know a thing about whats happening in the rest of the world and they cant even imagine theres such a thing as freedom of speech. iraqi tv broadcasts shows all day long where theres people singing about him, saying stuff like hes a god and the representative of allah.
then theres the wmd, sadam has the ability to build them and is not affraid to use them (look at what he did to the kurds and in the war against iran) and the fact that he provides support to terrorists. a boeing might land on your office too you know and they can get such things done due to the support of dictatorships like in iraq. war is never good as there will always be casualties but sometimes people have to die for the greater good. |
