This would be a great idea for the site at the top or bottom. http://www.ssnetwork.net/newsticker.php. It's not huge like a banner or graphical in nature (loads fast) and discreet and people are starting to notice it popping up all over. It's a news ticker which scrolls links to news items. It could also become invaluable if this sites news is posted on the SSN newsticker considering that SSN has a click through rate of approx 100 a day currently (on the newsticker itself). Thankfully for CTG it also doesn't list music postings which doesn't conflict with CTG's own agenda.
I'm always recieving new ideas for the news ticker and the SSN site and we're currently looking for affiated partners. If you have questions about this particular service don't hesitate to ask. If you have technical questions on the coding of the site and the newsticker itself please contact Mark at mspurgeon@comcast.net. If you decide not to host it I'd love to know why so that we can improve our service accordingly.

That ticker doesn''t work on that site .
Also there are more errors ...

I would guess you don't have java installed (latest IE updates don't include it). Download it at http://java.sun.com/ with the "Get Java Technology" button. |

For now we could connect that way that news from our site are also added into your database.Well this is just a plain idea which can be developed by emailing me. 
Well i will also try to find some spot on the site and add your pop up ticker.Is there any chance that it is displayed only to users with java installed? |

yes i understand what you mean by this flow charts.
But i will probaly skip the "if user wants or not". I will just try to make it that way that alll java enabled users see it.
I just need a good spot and settings to fit in the site.
All the ideas are welcome. |

Ern no, i mean pictionary will be changed with new banners when we get some sites interested in us.But that place wont be used for news ticker.I will maybe add it beside the sub menu on forums for now.
