We are just as fair as any other ctg member can be, so i dont see no reason to limit voting to certain people only. Also It would not be the easiest for us since at the moment most of staff team is preoccupied.
There is quite some options avaliable for voting like as it was suggested with poll, but poll system is not secure enought and it allows multiple voting so i dont think it is a good idea, it could be also done with favorites where the winner would be the song with most favorites. But i think still rating is the only fair and relevant way to pick winner. In future this could be done a bit more privately so that you would not know what ratings you got before the compo would end but this time the current system will just have to do the trick.

That's a good ide with the hiding rates. Just wonder if guest can vote to? If so, can't we exclude them? Making this a compo where just the members can vote. Would not that be easier then if a member just can vote one time. |

I wouldn't wanna change the rules for this compo either the poll thing was just meant as an addition to see what people thought who didn't review, just for fun without actually influencing the outcome. And yep, that security thing would definitely be an issue there...
Hmm, now that I listened to Kricke's entry (which is also really nice btw) I think I might put myself together a little cd with all entries  It's a nice collection after all. Hey, Atlantis, you wanna mix all entries together for the CTG Christmas Mix?

So what happens to the songs that doesnt get any review? A very small amount of reviews on the entries now. And the system explains it maybe. Unfortunately.

If that happens, staff will make sure that every entry gets at least 1-2 reviews.
