I wouldn't be too sure :) Beta is before final stabile version. Alpha is before Beta, Prealpha is before Alpha, and that makes Preprealpha....

Seems like a really neat project though. I hope it continues.
Fortunately, my music is much more interesting than my posts.

Hmm yeah the program seems really good by the specs.

I want to be a little honest here, and say that the fact that the programmer released a public preprealpha is a little concerning to me, since it may indicate a lack of patience to pull through the last stages of development.. If a music program is buggy then it's almost useless since a single crash can cause loss of hours of unreproducible work, and unefficient or unoptimized algorithms will cause cpu overload in practically no time.

When BeroTracker will be certified stable (perhaps Beta release), I will probably use it, as I need a good advanced program that can import and export XMs, ITs and MODs to replace our good old outdated Modplug.

Either way, mad props to Bero for making the program :bravo:

The current BeRoTracker is so far stable. But I want to implement 2 features yet:

- Drum Pattern Editor (Incomplete)
- True polyphonic Tracks wih arrranger (in Fruity-Loops style, as a sub-system)

Short: The another BeRoracker features are in the end-Beta state (far Finalstatus, very stable und usable).

Except the VSTi version, this version runs only with few vst hosts (-> Prepreprealpha), but if it runs in a host, it is usable and stable.

And i use it myself :)

Before BeRoTracker, I've used Impulse Tracker for many years, but now it is outdated. But it was a great DOS tracker :D
