It was extremely pleasurous finding our [mine and Xaimus`s] instruments in your track "Pipi goes Rave" .
Anyway, it looks really promising. Sounds like everything I wanted MPT to be .
I am yet to closely examin it, but so far it seems like it was prereleased. The loading time is relitively long, the tabs and buttons exeed the space dedicated to them [for example the graphical volume indicator acts like a background for the "Follow song" checkbox] and there are many gramartical mistakes [for example if you close a song it asks you "Want you really close this track without to save"].
I also failed to find the "color edit" for the samples, instrument etc windows. The only one I could find was the pattern edit and it too lacked a few things like the good ol` "Bold notes" checkbox, I miss it .
Couldn`t find how and where do I load the VST/VSTi.
Didn`t quite get as to how does the piano roll relate to the tracker sequencer.
Generally it looks Like an improved clone of MPT. Personaly, despite of it`s flaws, I find it to be a great program, a program I am very likely to switch to
It has [from the little I learned in the short time I had] all the advantages of the new gen trackers such as renoise, with the windows, user freindly interface, which I had always looked for. Great job BeRo! I hope that you continue on this project and make it even better!

P.S. I haven`t found any Help file :

It's not my kind of thing though. Too windows-ish for me, I like those graphical buttons more Besides, now when I use renoise, the moon will turn into a red onion, the sun into a raddish, and there will be two thursdays in a week, before I switch to another tracker.
...unless I get a hardware sequencer back that is, that would rock. Am I getting offtopic here?
Fortunately, my music is much more interesting than my posts. |
