Is it made by will, or is it a mistake? I found that many "receive" verbs are written "recieve".. i.e. in the Settings page, or Private Messages...

It's a very common English grammar-mistake. I don't find it very likely that this word has been spelled incorrect intensionally.
I guess it should be corrected - although I don't think any members really care (at least I don't).  |

According to the lexicon I use the correct word is "receive".
Never thought about that, as a faithful "recieve"-user.
