I use FL because it was the program I found easier to understand.
I was about to buy Muzys, but the site has been down since god knows when.

Where are old generation trackers??? -=>)| MODPLUG TRACKER |(<=- is my answer. You don't need new generation trackers to accomplish an amazing sound qualtiy. You wanna convince yourself? Wanna hear how good a track can sound with 8 bit samples without you even noticing that? It all depends on the WAY the composer uses the program. That's Modplug's output. I voted for "new generation trackers", although it's a lie.

It's somewhat harder, and the Renoise sound engine produces better quality overall imo.
Nothing bad with modplug. I like how it's lightning fast compared to when my track in Renoise starts eating up huge amounts of cpu and composing becomes a burden.

I use Reason and Cubase, and then I master in Samplitude...

just curious, what flaws? :)

Basically, 99% of the music I compose sound better without interpolation (well, technically with zero order interpolation), but renoise won't let me disable it, despite that it's possible in every other tracker there is, as a feature to save CPU power.

Nowdays they think like "PC's are so fast today that we can always have interpolation on", but it doesn't change the fact that interpolation sounds bad, is evil, and destroys my music.

Almost no VST sampler lets me disable it either :( No respect for lofi these days it seems. :col:
Fortunately, my music is much more interesting than my posts.
