It's so much fun if you agree to play "knives only". There's nothing like seeing your best friend running around with a knife in his head. Or was that Sin? So many games, I can't remember them all... Midtown Madness was quite cool in multiplayer mode. |

I only had one brief phase of playing multiplayer games, and that was my 3 years at uni. Here's how it broke down...
Worms Armageddon - wasted half of my final year with this.
Half Life - can vividly remember hearing the energy recharger noise echoing up the staircase in the early hours of the morning.
Grand Theft Auto - the original. Was surprisingly good multiplayer over a network. Player 1 = standing in the middle of the road with a rocket launcher, Player 2 = zooming along in a v.fast car trying to avoid rockets and splat Player 1.
Other than that - Micro Machines 2 on PS1 was also pretty special.
Oh, and of course things like Mario Kart and Goldeneye.

America's Army online is a great online game.
Just a bit too difficult.... (some people have too much time to practice  )

The most fun I have ever had in an online game is Unreal Tournament 2004. It just never ceases to be badass fun when I snipe my best friend :-P
I also enjoyed Lineage 2 for a short span of time, and I pre-ordered Guild Wars, which I am assuming will destroy my marriage (lmao not really, shes a gamer too!).
I agree, America's Army is badass.
I downloaded a mod for Unreal Tournament 2004 called Red Orchestra. It is a masterpiece...

Ultima Online *BEFORE* Age Of Shadows.......
this game simply rocked... it had bugs galore, and connection always sucked ass with Lag, but I loved it anyway
