I've checked for prices with ryanair for the last week of august. I would have to take this journey:
21th Aug 2005
-----------------
Frankfurt 6:25
London 6:40
9.90€
London 11:45
Wroclaw 14:50
39.99€
28th Aug 2005
-----------------
Wroclaw 15:15
London 16:30
39.99€
London 20:00
Frankfurt 22:15
29.90€
A 2-way Flight for 120€ is pretty much OK imo.
Wroclaw is sadly the only destination city they have, from there I must take train then. And London is the only city that has flights to Wroclaw daily.
If anyone is interested in going there by plane, this should be the general plan. |
Not only Wroclaw we have, there is also Warsaw and flights directions to the Gdansk, just check it, but it's possible you will have to change in Warsaw (for instance) and then using cheap flights to Gdansk. Don't know how much it will costs but really cheaper than you wrote..

I must admit, I was a bit sceptical when I first saw the post, caus this sort of idea has been talked about for many times now. At least 3 for me. But the more I read here, the more interested I get. Music competition/compaliations, beer, sports etc, meeting you.. I'm almost 100 percent down with this!

For cheap flights - check this one: Wizz Air (www.wizzair.com).

| Okay! That sounds better than Ryanair... I found perfect flights direct from Frankfurt to Warsaw for 5€ each, and with Airport Taxes it would all cost 74€, sounds great. AmBean/Cooth, how would we go from Warsaw to Gdansk? Is there a good train/bus combination or would a flight be better? |

I think it's easy to get a good train from Warsaw to Gdansk. I have to extract all the useful info about transport from the schedules and the I'll put it on the Meeting page.

Hmm.. I think these Wizz airlines might have directions from Warsaw to Gdansk. On their site should be some info about it. I'll check it..

What the hell? Do I read that correctly as it costs 10 euros to fly from London to Frankfurt? What the hell???
London Stansted to Newcastle costs thirty five pounds on easyjet. God damn.
Oh well, just as well that I didn't pay for THAT flight.
Anyway, if it's going to be late august, I'm not sure - I'm flying to Switzerland in early September. It might clash, I don't know. I'd prefer early-mid August, but it's no big deal.
