Hello all. This is my first post out in the main area. I will be hosting a remix contest in the coming weeks, and the details will be posted on my site as well as this thread, provided its allowed to remain here.
First Prize will be a signed copy of my DVD, which will include over 500 songs from my extensive body of work, music videos, previously unreleased material, a bumper sticker, a tshirt, and more goodies

Hmm yeah, I agree.. Whether you're a good musician or not, it's funny for anyone to march right in and expect everyone to already be dedicated fans..
If you're offering such prizes, that's great, but u know, why would someonethink it's worth competing over if he's never even heard of you? And going to your site and downloading your music to see if it's worth winning your stuff, I hope you realize that's a LLOOONNGG way to go just to see if I want to compete or not!!

I came here on recommendation, erroneously I take it. Ego and attitude. Musicianship should not stoop to such.
I was going to offer the contest for your people here alone, trying to reach out to the group here and be a nice guy.
My fan base speaks for itself. Regardless of having been heard of on a "mod tracking" community or no. Best of luck in your attitudes and lack of friendliness. You perhaps have a large user-base at present, but speaking to others like you have been, its only a matter of time till your behavior blows up in your face...

btw the recommendation I received to come here was from pretty high up the chain at native instruments. I'll thank them for you...assholes

Well, I admit that recepcion could be better ( shame on you guys) but its also true that you act like superstar from the very begining wich annoys many people. How come you think we should adore every newcomer in these forums?? Introduce yourself and try to be honestly nice, such a condescending 'kindness' isn't appropiate. |
