Heh, the thread is indeed funny as hell. Love the "closeness" mentioned above. Heh.

You guys are amazing. You claim to be a community, and I came in here to try and offer some FREE SHIT for you elitist morons, and I am told I came in "like a superstar". Um, prozac?

I came here and posted several other places, because quite honestly your threads were interesting to me. I enjoyed the gear section, and the music I have heard, I reviewed and enjoyed it. I posted the contest information not as a "I AM THE CHRIST OF ELECTRONIC MUSIC" but rather to offer something neat for all you people to engage in, perhaps enjoy some of that "community" you spout off about but seem to have missed the mark on.

As far as "uploading tracks was essential", which I suppose was meant to say so you could get a feel for what my sound is like, and review it or trash it, which is my expectation after the welcome I got, the condescending manner in which I was told to do so was not the most fruitful way to earn someone's respect.

I did not come here looking for pissing contests. I came here to be a part of something which I thought was thought provoking, and seemed hella better than a lot of the other shite I find on the web full of people with no drive, passion or talent to speak of. The site looks badass, the artists are varied and their styles are massively original and I was hooked from the get go.

instead, I have my site defaced by people who cannot use a paint program wortt a turd, have my own words posted in abusive manners, and my character, musical history, and personal integrity laid bare and ass raped by a bunch of basement shut in morons who have nothing better to do then pounce on the new guy.

As for what my bio says, which has been posted and commented on more than Jesus wiped his own ass, did it ever occur to you I was trying to merely write somehting in to give a taste of who I am until I could be more specific about my music and what I am all about? Of course not, that would make sense, and far be it from me or anyone with more than one ballsack to test the limits of that plateau.

As far as the comment regarding "people assume i blow up at random online, who would have thought". Well, you cannot blame anyone of sound mind for not wondering what the motivations of a STAFF MEMEBER on a forum is when his first comment to a stranger is asinine and about as helpful, useful, or educational as a bag of shit with the words "gross national product" written on it.

And no, the community portion of my site is for other artists, being that is a "net-label".

And yes, the wallpapers and shirts have my face on them because they are promo's for ME, the artist in question. So what exactly is your point? Would someone like Sascha K. from KMFDM have a t-shirt of Pink Floyd's The Wall artwork to promote something of his own? I think not.

Alas, it is moot to argue. I came here thinking the best, now I am not so sure.

Attacking someone for merely announcing an EVENTUAL contest, which I will add has no entry fee, and has a shitload of free stuff that anyone who wants to have fun and maybe compete for loot would enjoy, is not only selfish and crude, it is utterly and infallibly stupid.

Merry christmas children of the bored...

I'm not elitist, just seen bit too much of a ego boosting entries. Its the 'american' way to arrive, making it huge 'me'. Though I must admit its very sincere....

Ofcource its essential to hear your tracks, we evaluate your music basing to what we hear, not what you claim to be. I never trash music, just give a honest opinion wich ain't anything but mine's. Not a revenge, not an ultimate truth. Dot.

If you wanna be part of community, you have to think and behave like you wanna be a part of it, not above it. There's no doubt about it when reading your first statement. Community has its rules, you know.

As for what my bio says, which has been posted and commented on more than Jesus wiped his own ass, did it ever occur to you I was trying to merely write somehting in to give a taste of who I am until I could be more specific about my music and what I am all about? I admit that it isn't very appropiate, but you should read more our forum to notice how people behave here. There isn't much of people like you who go around a boast about 'excellent offerings' and 'how special you I am'. That's not a style of this place. Might fit to MTV and silly rappers but not here -

And no, the community portion of my site is for other artists, being that is a "net-label".

I haven't attack against you, its partly opposite. You 'attacked' here with your completely disrespectful attitude. You seem to think that everyone who *thinks* to be something, must act like this. Must arrive like a sportscar to parking lane, with screaming tyres. Whoah, who's this....? I know its probably sincere, you 'd truely like people who act like you.....then you have to consider this: a community full of humble people who respect eachother by person itself and where modest behaviour is honoured. Is this place really for you?????

Well, anyway you deserve another change, if you still want it. Welcome here :)

Word morons sticks in my eye.... unneccessary, puts all your rant to the test already in second line.

...., and the music I have heard, I reviewed and enjoyed it.

This is a false statement, stats prove you wrong.

I posted the contest information not as a "I AM THE CHRIST OF ELECTRONIC MUSIC" but rather to offer something neat for all you people to engage in, perhaps enjoy some of that "community" you spout off about but seem to have missed the mark on.

This all is a chain of events. If you come here and join, you get a niffty little icon on the forum below your name. a blue "member" in your case. It means that you are didn+t posted any songs to the site, which, ofcourse, does not necessary resoult in a problem at all. But when you join and right afterwards post a competition announcment, you are regarded as a SPAMER, right on, automatically. Your good(or not) intentions does not matter at all in the shadow of the presentation you choose to apply(for most people anyway) and that is the problem you fail to see. This forum is here for quite a few time, every now and then, someone posts a post like yours, same form, same meaning, etc... and wanishes, forever. People assumed YOU are like those, and reacted in an, for such posts, appropriate way. See?

I did not come here looking for pissing contests. Should I remind you calling us assholes pretty fast when they approached you with
disbelief?

As far as the comment regarding "people assume i blow up at random online, who would have thought". So, you must admit it, was your first post on the community. What you give is what you get. Simple as that.

And no, the community portion of my site is for other artists, being that is a "net-label".

Hey... has anybody checked out djredskulls response to this topic...

http://www.ctgmusic.com/topic.php?id=4025&page=3#down ???

I reckon his signature should just be changed to the simpler and more accurate "arrogance"

Also - check out his artist description on his page @ http://www.ctgmusic.com/artist.php?id=4069
