Again with a little delay we anounce the new reviewer of the week.
The reviewer of this week is Jussi "Randor" Tunkkari who wrote really nice amount of reviews, which are even more worth since he does not have a fast internet connection. ;)

So check him out at : http://www.ctgmusic.com/randor

From now on the weekly reviewer of the week award system will be a little different. The same artist can get awarded more then once from now on, so simply each week the one who will write most reviews will get the free banner and some extra promotion.

good luck! :bunny:

good night! :bunny:

Hmmm, would be kinda boring if we got the same reviewer of the week avery week. What about this: If you become the reviewer of the week, week 1, you can't be it either week 2 or 3. But week 4 you could be it again if you review enough?
Ohh, alot of weeks here :D

If you don't like to see the same reviewer of the week for 2 weeks..
Then write some fukken reviews!!

Í think it's a good idea! If people see the same person in the spotlights, they might
get a review-rush themselves :)

By the way, congrats Randor!

Congrats Randor, lots of great work done.

I don't see any reason why someone who's been most active during, say, 3 weeks, shouldn't be awarded 3 times in a row. :) Hey, it's not president election! :D

I only hope quality will be always along with quantity in this review-rush you mention. :monkey: :D

Was that for me?

Anyway, It's kinda hard for people without fast connection to download and review more than one on a cable. With modem a song on 5-6 mb can take very long time, so long that you could download plenty of songs with cable during that time (We all know this). And about what Cooth said, I'm afraid that we will get bad reviews just cause a person wants to do the most reviews on a week. And if a review doesn't help the artist to understand what he could improve in his track it doesn't matter if you wrote it.

Hmmm, I both disagee and agree in this thread :)

Well sorry for going a little off topic here, coz it's not much connected with the reviewer of the week thingy, but bad reviews are what I was afraid ever since the site launched. Ace and Szartd decided for a free reviewing system, in which anyone can write what they want and no monitoring, no probation etc. takes place. There are both pros and cons of both approaches. CTG one is working quite well so far, but there are relatively few artists and the site is in its childhood i'd say.

Anyway, whereas the reviewing system is free and uncensored, I think while picking reviewer of the week, quality should be even more important than the number of reviews written.

yes i think that we should now only pick reviewe of the week based on the "number", me and szartd will try to pick a guy who wrote best reviews. (quality + quantity) so 2 awesome reviewes cant make you a reviewer of the week and 30 bad ones neither, it has to be something in the middle.

Heh , no wI am confused , I just looked at the reviewer top list , and I see that the ones who allready were reviewer of the weeks are marked as "cannot be reviewer of the week" ...

So what is the system now then ?
Or are we still thinking of how it should become :?:
