hahaha.. All tracks in here are without rights. All you have to do is ask the owner for a midi file.

au contraire monfraire
All tracks in here are WITH rights. The precise SECOND you create an original work, it is copyrighted.
Of course, all he needs is the owners permission and source file to remix it. :-)

Hmmmz, well, musical content I suppose. but that I'd just listen and recreate. I think remixes is most neat when everything is different from the orginal somehow.

so, why do you call it a remix, when everything it 100% different?
I mean, i'm making a remix atm, and I make everything different expect for 1 thing, because I want to keep it a remix

I think that's what defines the difference between a remix and a remake. By my definition, a remix could even just mean using a different effect or adding or subtracting an instrument from the mix, as essentially what you're doing is re-mixing it.
A remake would be a much greater deviation from the original, as you could start with the basic musical idea from scratch and incorporate your own ideas into it.

Remixes, remakes, covers... What's all this crap about? Who needs those thing anyway? Making original stuff is the only way IMO.
