I can't upload files nowhere - as soon as I hit the submit/upload button on any site where there is upload, it just displays a 'Page Cannot Be Displayed' error. Why? Can someone give a hint, please? It's got to be something with my computer settings, right?

What are you attempting to upload? an avatar link to a pic or something like that, or, are you trying to upload a file like audio?

As far as I know, one cannot upload the actual file, but must actually link to it.

I get a similar error, seemingly at random, whenever I attempt to check messages, i often click on "messages" link, and the page I was on just reloads. But its not constant.

Louigi, if you mean like uploading files via websites, I had that problem once. I think it was the fault of my ISP. At some point it started to work, so I figured they must have changed some configuration, coz I didn't fix anything myself.

It's most probably the ISP... try not to use the HTTP POST to upload files, try using FTP, it's always better that way.
