Ever sine the ads thing was introduced, I find myself getting stuck infront of a "loading googlesyndicate.com" until I press stop and refresh.
It's absolutely horrible.
Also the fact that banners need to be loaded from other sites, therefore making the loading time here dependent on their servers have caused a similar problem for me.

If I'm the correct the system first loads every image from their own server and after that the off-site banners/ads/etc...

| DDSpeed, shouldn't we rather support ctg by actually download those banners? I mean, using the firefox-extension the images aren't even downloaded hence not registered. |

If that's adblock he's pointing you to, you actually can have adblock just hide the adds after downloading them

Yep. This improves the comfort of browsing the site, reduce the site's loading time. I will not tolerate veiwing any banners on any site in the world, you can be sure about that.

Sorry, no offense.
I dont have problems with google ads, neither on loading time or the content. Some of them are pointing to really nice sites, I have bookmarked a few of those I saw here. On the other hand this small revenue can be used for certain things.

Yes, I udnerstand, but I don't like ads, so I will block them  . Including my own .
