Let's all face the facts. The Internet and the world is literally covered with music. Make a short search and you find dozens of bands better than yourself. So why keep at it? Well, you might have music in a nisch that other's don't or just do it for fun.
But how much attention have you got for your music? Let's count everything from attention here at CTG to other awards and possible donations. Does your music have any kind of impact? This is the place to share it.
I'm so far an unknown backstreet of the universe of links we call the Internet. But I work and hope to be more known in the future. And I hope that's becuase the music I write contributes to people moods and life in a positive way.

After embarking on this musical journey here's what happend so far...
-Got mentioned favorably in "Future Music Magazine".
-Got featured in a local magazine "Unsigned" magazine here in Atlanta.
-Did a couple of tracks for a porno. Got exposure and not much else.
-Hooked up with a rock/electronica act here (that I write and produce for) that seem to be going places. Won a couple of 'battle of the bands'.
-Worked with various local artists in producing their tracks. One them got signed.
-Working with various ppl internationally on some projects that may bear fruit.
-Sold a track to a singer in TX for $500.
-Working on Remixes now to be release on an NYC label.
Thus far, I haven't made much money, but I have gotten to meet and work with alot of other talented artist as well as produce my own music and got it heard. And alot the current projects are 'irons in the fire' so to speak, to really make an impact in the music scene outside of the internet and potential earn some much need funds to keep going.
If it was an open-hand slap, it was intentional.

In 6.5 years of tracking:
-Won a couple of compos (Nov's CMC twice, a couple of other things that escape me)
-Wrote music for a small indy game, got paid 100 euros
In 1 year of sequencing:
-AoTY in OSMusic
I've probably forgotten a few things, but this seems to be the stuff I can remember.

I used to get a little attention and was very happy and actually found my "musical career" fulfilling
But then I dissappeared for a few month, and when I came back my new release got like 15 downloads.
