Sometimes when I review may song I begin to think of them as seperate entities from their creator. Sometims I get mad when I hear the same thing, same style as everybody else and it makes me want to slam a big 1.0 down!!!
Sometimes I hear something I like and point that out in the review. Sometimes the creator will send a "thank you" back to me... and tell me I was the first one out of the other reviewers that understood that part... that noticed and appreciated it.
Its times like those that remind me that these arent just songs but these are parts of the creators... sometimes very deep compassion and emotion can flow beneath the surface. It's these things that make me really love the scene... we are all sharing something very special here that you won't generally find in commercial music.
To the people who think they are above reviews.... that think reviews are a bad idea... that think a rating system is pointless.... you are so wrong.

I agree with (almost) everything you say, but I still think ratings are unnecessary.  |

Some things just need to be said right away. Wouldn't make sense to create a topic just to answer to something that someone said in another topic just b/c the answer is not quite 100% on topic...............
