| I think that is good idea-to add more generes like: big beat,more jazzy and more rock styles.It will help ppl,about finding overall genere/sub-genere and his style/sub-style. |

People can always search the subgenres. I dont see why we would need more Jazzy or rock "genres" since we have main "Jazz" and "Rock" genre and people use the subgerne to specify either it is acid/fusion/.. jazz. So those are subgenres and i belive it should stay like that. "Big beat" is other story and it could probaly work out as stand alone genre.

I disagree, there's too much genres already....
In my experience listeners usually care about general genres like pop, rock, electronic,dance.......subgenres are for nitpickers  |

actually, chillout or chill out, should be a genre, it's a cousin (or perhaps the origin) of ambient, I don't really know the relation, but anyway, it's got it's own flair for sure!
Bigbeat isn't a subgenre either,and should be added IMO
diversity breeds diversity.

Heh believe me - chill out has nothing to ambient except the atmosphere
Just some of us are using ambient/chill out as a genre, but it's still a mix of these both different styles.

Heh, if I ran this site there would be no genres.
After a while I don't really know how to get the difference between ambient and chillout, trance, techno and house, and you may try to tell me abiout it, but after all:
