Ok, this is a n00b question I guess. But what is T-Racks? what can it do? I see a lot of artists using the program, and write that they have used it for mastering! but what does mastering meens in bigger words?

As an artist I use skale tracker, but can T-Racks be used in some connection with skale tracker or is it mostly with big sound quality programs?

Cheers  Sry if my questions sounds to n00b kind of.. :?:

T-racks is a mastering software. That means if you finish a song and make some wav file out of it you can open it in t-racks and modify it.You can use equalizers some stereo expandings and compressor to imporve the quality of your wav file sound.
this is so called "post production". :cowboy:

Well , it is not really a mastering software , just a program that can "simulate" a compressor/limiter and do some equalizing ,
I don't believe when u use t-racks only , suddenly your song is mastered .
So let's say it is "one of the" available software packages you can use during your mastering projects .
Another advice is just too check the related webpages first  before open a topic and ask ....

Now there is a little thing you need to understand, I didn't started the topic just because I needed some info about T-Racks, there actually may be other newbiez out there. And one other thing. I think its important to make a topic than no topic at all. as long as I dont spam the forum you can relaxe and let me do the writing?

Tell me if Im Wrong!

Relax man , I don't mean it like that , I mean that u can get more info about t-racks and then ask what u don;t get , then we can answer more specifik instead of starting with nothing .
In that we we can help more !
Like "I saw that t-racks has a magic button that gives me contracts , how does that actually work ? "
:D
You really must have a :xpizza: with a pepsi and relax a bit
