it's about my guitar, a cherry red gibson sg standard.
one day my little sister's friend, a 4-year old boy had been in my room when i was out. my brother heard some noises as something had fallen. he went looking and this kid was "playing" the guitar by hitting the strings furiously and shaking it with the other hand. when i got home i saw this fingertip-sized hole in the guitar's surface and the laquer and the paint was off and you could easily scratch a little cave inside the naked wood if you wanted to. i don't know what exactly he had done to it, probably hit it against a metallic keyboard stand.
i was pissed, my dream guitar was brutally violated, it's exactly the same if i scratched someone's ferrari with an iron nail with force.
well, i just noticed that THE HOLE HAS VANISHED. no sign that it ever even was there. it's simply gone. the guitar is still the same, all the other littly dings and marks are still there, the strings and even the smell is the same and everything is like it's supposed to be except that the big hole is gone.. i've checked it everywhere just incase i somehow misremember the position but no. and no-one has repaired it or taken it to a guitar store to be repaired or anything. a miracle has happened

no no, i was many days pissed about it. i even thought about going to see the little boy's father and tell him what happened and ask him to buy me a new one or give the money to get it professionally repaired. i just called my girlfriend and she remembered the hole too and how i was pissed. it's not even that long ago, a month at most.

I have dreams like that about my studio monitors all the time. 
But what if the boy's parents replaced the guitar with a brand new one? You do say the smell and things like that are the same, but couldn't it be a possibility?

not possible since they don't even know about it. it's my old guitar, i'm 100% sure. i spend many hours a day playing it, i know it throughoutly.

things like this happen everyday, but everyone refers to them as flukes, or simply "weird shit" then never give them a second thought.
Somehow somebody, or perhaps yourself managed to repair that guitar, that's for sure.
by what method I don't know, but do realize this: this happend for a reason, whatever the reason might be, you've seen it for yourself that there is something else out there, something totally unreal, now, the question is, what do you do with this knowledge? where does the limit end? where does it start?

Maybe someone else who knew about that replaced or fixed it? Anything would be hard to believe but who knows... like mrsix said, call yourself lucky, things like that don't happen to everyone
