okay here goes:
if you were reviewer of the week 3 weeks ago... nobody will ever remember your efforts in making all those reviews
I would like to have it reported on the artist page..
also, a quick review counter is nice also to say the least..
then another thing with reviews:
a poll under the review wich says:
is this review helpfull?
Yes/No
then, also a counter for the times people voted yes or no on your review...

The latter isn't a bad idea actually; like having peer review on reviews made to a track, like you get on Amazon or whatever.
As for the latter, I suppose you could have a little 300x50 "button"-picture added to the concerned artist's page to highlight that award. Might be an idea to expand this to other awards (remix compos, Music Disk inclusions and such)

We have been discussi´n about this but the administrator aint listening to our needs!

I don't like the idea with the poll... Not because I'm frightened about lots of negative votes on my reviews, but because such a quick rating would be a nice way to piss somebody off. I hate any ratings or votes which don't include a necessary description. Songs on renoise.com are rated this way and it totally sucks.
About the rewards for top reveiwers - I totally agree that it would be a perfect idea. After all artists of the month/year get proper info on their artist page, so reviewers of the week should get that too.

I do like the poll-suggestion. Seems like a nice idea, not only for the potential downloaders, but also for the reviewers.

We already have the "report review" function for review quality control, so I think having such a poll would just make the interface of the site busier without adding anything very useful. People should become better at reporting those bad reviews, that's all.
