Yeah... I've personally become a Nintendo fanboy again. I want to get a DS and a Wii when it comes out. My best gaming memories are all on NES, SNES and Gameboy... mainly because of good gameplay.... and I think they're focussing more on gameplay now with the new systems, which is what I've been waiting for.

I checked it out, and I think the PSP has better graphics, and you can do all sorts of other stuff on it, like play movies, mp3s and stuff like that...

I'm not arguing what's better, but Nintendo DS, having purely playing purposes, gives a diferent pleasure - a pleasure of a console, not of a computer that can do everything.
Also, Nintendo's games are very cool and unique.

I got Yoshi's Island DS the other day, the sequel to Yoshi's Island on the SNES, which was the sequel to Super Mario World. It's the cosiest Mario game ever, if that's your thing.
What a horrible night to have a curse.

I bough a DS lite with NFS: Most Wanted and the 42 game classics.
The last one really is a great game. It are 42 little games, like pool, bowling, lots and lots of cardgames and i dunno what more...
NFS:MW is nice too, but if you've played the pc version... its not that good Gameplay is, but the graphics aren't
You can ask me hundreds "why don't you" questions, answer will be, because it works that way too. - xTr1m |

Just got Zelda : Phantom Hour Glass
After 30 mins of playing, I can sense I'm going to really enjoy this - it uses the touch screen for controlling link, kinda weird at first, but I'm slowly getting used to it....
Graphics are cute, just like Windwaker. Having never played Windwaker though, I dont know if this is a classic case of Nintendo 'remaking' their games for their other platforms.....
Anyone else got this? any thoughts to share?

Yup, I'm playing it these days. I'm playing it only a few minutes at a time, and it's perfect for that as you can save all the time (or, of course, just close the DS between sessions). Looks to be amongst the best DS games I've tried. I haven't played The Wind Waker either, but this is a direct sequel and not a remake.
The controls rock. I'm impressed by how smoothly they work.
What a horrible night to have a curse.

Ok, to correct myself: that game got old fast. The levels all felt the same, and it just lacks some of the charm of the first game. It's a decent game by all means, but I can't see myself finishing it anytime soon.

Thanks Zepsi! Zelda games
Castlevania: Portait Of Ruin - I've *FINALLY* put this down, after almost a year of playing it EVERY SINGLE DAY!. Finished it long ago, but I still played, just to get my money and kill count up!
Highly recommended game.

I played Wind Waker.. 7 times.. it's a classic.. if you're a HARDCORE Zelda-junky like me I loved the battlesystem, loved it even more than the battlesystem in Twilight Princess, despite all the special moves and shit..
I just love it to wreak havoc among four Knights with a stolen sword with whirling slashes and boomerang hookshot mayhem action murder green suit pointy hat
Anti Ganondorf Force 2036 XL..
Dunno about the DS.. a touchpad-thing seems too fragile in my fists.
