Castlevania: Portait Of Ruin - I've *FINALLY* put this down, after almost a year of playing it EVERY SINGLE DAY!. Finished it long ago, but I still played, just to get my money and kill count up!
Highly recommended game.

I own a limited edition of The Wind Maker
I played The Phantom Hourglass for a few minutes, but then had to put it down. It certainly looks good and I'm looking forward to really get into it

Eventually, I didn't like the Castlevania game. Dunno, maybe it's just not my cup of tea, but I get bored.

Finished my first dungeon on Phantom Hour Glass... I'm rather happy with this game so far - when I got the boomerang, I almost wet myself, what a cool way to use the weapon!!!! 
Gotta admit though, it's feeling like the usual Zelda formula thus far, and I hope there is going to be something much different in this game....
The music isn't as good as previous Zelda's  but damn, the game is CUTE!!!.

I second what you say. The boomerang was an excellent way to use the stylus. Personally I like the fact that it reminds me of the original Zelda in the way things works, but that might be the nostalgic in me speaking.
I somehow miss having to look for a map once in a dungeon. Here you somehow possess it to begin with.
As for the music, it doesen't quite cut it with me either. It sounds like very generic adventure/rpg music. It works though.

Advance Wars:
I am enjoying the game a lot, however what I don't enjoy are the CO abilities. Just as you figure out the startegy and start doing something, your opponent gets his CO ability ready and shoots down your troops while being on the other side of the map - because the CO character you are fighting with has the ability to increase the range of his weapons as much as three times... pfff...
Also, the storyline is childish. I mean what - have we entered a phase in the game industry when all the plots have to be children-based? When a kid leads an army - this is silly. Even when you know it's a game. I would've loved it even more if there was no plot - it is unnecessary imho.
Anyway, those are my opinions. Would love to hear from someone who also played the game.

I'm not liking all the sailing in Phantom Hour Glass - I just want to run around and use my sword on things, but I find the sailing aspect very tedious....
Play sid meier's pirates for sailing! (its far superior at it too)
