I personally think there is no need to put up previews on the artistpage... If they want to they could use the artist description to do so. Otherwise they could use the previews topic. I think that is more than enough for anyone.

I like this idea.
At song submission, we could then add information that we kindly ask not to submit preview releases, just put them on the Previews board instead.  |

Yeah, and it would be less chaotic than our previews topic Perhaps we could also make the topic titles in that forum standard like "Artist Name - Song Title" or something

But previews don't always have a title. I would rather suggest recommeding a very short description of what is, like "funky house with a synth trumpet"
or something |

Artist Name - Genre ?
that way people will know what genre their downloading and if they'll be able to give suitable feedback on the preview
