Imo more info to the newcomers is the easiest way to go. But i'm certain that the majority wouldnt bother to read it anyway.
Another option would be for the mods to take their time to write whats "wrong" and what they need to do too improve their reviews so they will be "accepted" the next time they'll write. But this would mean an enormous amount of work for the moderators/staff.
A possibilety would be too have more people in the reviewstaff who would take care of this. |

It's funny though, if I were reviewing I'd be giving out a lot of 10's. I run into songs all the time that is perfect, and can't be improved. I basically listen to songs for what they are, not for what I'd like them to be, therefor I never even consider the posobility that they could have been different. By that reason, I don't hear much problems. Only if stuff is out if tune, poorly mixed, bad stereo separation, or other technical things etc (I'm still quite picky about that).
However, people would keep telling me I can't give out so many 10's.

I agree ENTIRELY with you Nifflas. That is exactly how I feel, to the word.

10s ruin the charts. The problem is that 10 is the highest rate, and if 500 songs are rated 10 you'll probably think ctg reviewers are very "soft" or over-rating, so 10s would lose their real meaning. A 10 should be given to THE BEST song you've ever heard, a special song to you or a flawless track.

Thanks Raza. And, to help this topic to be longer than the "bored" one... I think reviews system is ok. Reviewers are better and worse, but every reviewer deserves my  for spending time giving opinions on other people's work. Over-ratings are bad for charts, but at last, an active member of this community (those who I think they're the most important) will know with no problems which artists are GOOD and which ones are over-rated... thanks to FORUMS, reporting system or even their own ears. There's a great bounch of topics about "your favourite "x" and they're the real charts for me.

how come you don't get letters if you're reviewd now? Is it a new feature? (Attention! A new review feature from the specials section: non-informed review! Get a review and don't know about it) Just kidding, but when I recieved a review, the letter didn't come.
