afaik the big difference in sound is that if one speaker is overdriven the others don't have to be. This has a tendency to reduce distortion in general at high volume levels, near the max spl of the speakers (e.g. you can overdrive the sub without having the distortion wash over to the signal coming out of the satelite speakers)
I don't think it makes that much of a difference if you're running your speakers at medium volume within a couple of meters, even for near-field monitors.
Complainig about reviews is sooooo 2004.

No, the DX4 has an additional set of TRS 1/4" balanced/unbalanced inputs. Just compare the two images and you'll see. Not quite sure how both can still be priced the same, but perhaps one is an older model that will soon be discontinued?

Hello,
I use a pair of blueroom minipods... would anyone recommend/ unrecommend these as I was under the impression they have very good sound reproduction?
I use a seperately amped Vibe sub for my lows, the only thing I see myself needin is a good quality electronic crossover to seperate the amps as one runs 200hz and below, the other is full range and I feel it should be 200hz and above to get a true image...
