This was weird... When i tried to open the url directly, it wanted to download instead of showing it in IE. (this can be a new feature of PSP X, i dunno about that...
But it can also mean that your server has a .htaccess restriction for accessing .png files, and threats them differently.
Maybe indirect linking is disabled? Seems something to be with your server, not with any script.
You can easilly check this out by adding a .htm file and put the following in it:
<html>This is a test<br><img src=http://www.plastiqueweb.com/atlantis/images/avatar/avatar.png></html>

If this does work, then indeed something is wrong with the way this script handles the image. If the html also fails, then its on your server. Note that i put it in <html> tags in order to let the server see, its dealing with html, like its on this server too.

optimize option checks images size (height 'n width) and uses them...
so if you have a pic (80x62) it simple uses those, so you don't have to insert them manually...
