I have installed Wavelab now. And I open an old track to master it, I do it, and then save it. And when I listen to it and compare it with the old version, it sounds the same...can you help me, whats the problem?

Render the file.

render on place, or as new file, with the effects on.
Maybe?

Yeah. What Wiseman said.

There's a "Render" button at the bottom of the effects rack. I don't think Wavelab saves effects settings, which pisses me off.
