well just put 2-5 nominees, and let the crowd pick, even if they would pick what you would consider worse alternative, it's still a good one if you have nomineed it
and the fact that nobody gets to be aotm twice makes sure the other nominees might get picked some other time

Yeah, as I said, you guys (ie, admins etc) choose 5-6 nominees (or how the fuck that is spelled) and every one of those must obviously be above average, and then the public choose.. I mean, at least you could try it out

make it very clear that they have to listen to all the artists before voting, so they just don't vote for one artist they love without checking the others out.
