Your music is popular, like os said, and it's hard to get popular... I personaly don't have anything aganist cheesy trance (I listen to di.fm vocal trance all the time, cheese alert!) and I think this ATOM is well deserved

Congrats to all of you who like trance that uses the same formula, over and over again. You'll never see me use an FGAA chord sequence, transposed up two semitones ever. Put your lives on repeat, as you do put your winamp on repeat.

At the end tehnique, skills, creativity, originality have no valid point if music itself doesnt attract you, if you dont find it catchy and if you basicly do not enjoy it.
It doesnt really matther what way you use to make that final waveform as long as you enjoy it yourself and specialy if many others enjoy it aswell.

Well, OS, I agree that using the same chord sequence every time again, doesn't really work that well, but you dont have to be original in every aspect of the song. Just be original in 1 aspect, and let the other things be normal, so that the listener does catch that 1 moment of originality and thinks it's awesome.
But then again, we could write pages about this I think.
It took a while, but : It's a new release! (3496 hits) |

Yes of course, its obvious that Alphadelta concentrated himself
to make commercial sounding trance songs for everybody.
And thats of course that what the music industry needs.
Good Sounding melodies which remain in your ear after hearing and you get
the feeling that you want to hear it again.
And he did a very good job. So congratulations to him again !
But clear is also that your style oceanseeker is a different one.
To understand your professional technical skills and to regognize it you have surely be advanced.
I immediately understand when i first hear your track that it was some of the best i heard in my life. And i mean the synthesizer trance fantasy style from you.
So i hope to hear a new track from you on ctgmusic soon.

everyone should do what comes naturally from them... trying to be original on purpose always comes wrong, and that's just fake art to me. people should do what they feel like doing and if it comes original then good.
and i agree with gaj, anyone can be original, just through weird effects here and there and do everything differently than you have done before, it's easy as shit, if you think that makes you talented you are way off. but making something really good and catchy, now that's hard, coming up with that awesome riff, that's hard. then you really have to think what you do and not just play around.

Great, controversy again!
I like these discussions. I like all discussions that (try to) discuss an oppinion.
What it is about oppinions that makes them so.... provoking? People get all jumpy
when oppinions are around, like having an oppinion is like, dunno, having a flu.
The way things to be , as it seems, is that having a different (!) oppinion than that of your own is especialy dangerous to just about everybody else.
Or, better yet, having the same oppinion as everybody else prooved to as equaly dangerous. If not even more. Which leads to individuality and stuff like that.
What makes people believe that they ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO have their little own, unique oppinion on just about everything? I understand people side on important matters, but to quarel with someone over whos face will be on the first page of a web site is plain waste of time and bandwidth, not to mention the applications on chinese kids because you wear off your "made in china" keyboard too quickly. Poor souls need to make extra keyboard because your pointless oppinions.
To make matters even worse, people stand on their little pointless oppinions downright fanaticaly. And people that do so are about as quick to try to convert other as they are when routhlesly defending their own. What is that? A mix of fanatical need for individuality combined with strive for control, power? A poor mans exercise in controling crowds?
"...wow, Mom, look! 15 lonely children preffer my unique pointless oppinion over their insignificant own. Am I cool of what?..."
NEWS FLASH: If you think you are unique and cool because you have an unique oppinion and stand on it, you are most probably NOT! If you have to force your individuality throu pointless oppinions (the best part:mostly over the internet) rather than some specific feature in your personality or lifestyle(real, material life that is) or whatever is your work or something, then there are a very good chances you are just
as average as you are affraid of being.
So, somebody tell me, what is about quareling about every single thing you see?
Opps... I hijacked a thread. Doesn't matter, this rant was on my mind for quite some time
"The 'soul' of the machines has always been a part of our music. Trance always belongs to repetition, and everybody is looking for trance in life... in sex, in the emotional, in pleasure, in anything... so, the machines produce an absolutely perfect trance."
