Ah, just wait until the Christmas spirit hits ya :yes: Today I took a few hours to start with some basic ideas which will hopefully turn into something nice when inspiration grows over the next weeks :xsanta:

I think it was a smart idea to announce the compo early, instead of "too late".

Many of the remix competitions that get announced here, you only have like two weeks. Not because I think people make music slow, but because we should presume that people have an ordinary life too. :)

So, I'm proud of this one :yes:

I dunno about the rest of you, but my usual songwriting process is like so:


dance to your own beat during the day, mouthsynth and whatnot
scribble down ideas in reason at nighttime, or in the wee hours of the morning
repeat about 15 times
take some idea you came up with at the start of the process, and finish it over a couple of weeks

So basicly, most of my releases are actually old wips which I've gone over again and finished :) So lots of time is a very good thing here :excited:
