Hm, removing vocals is easy job. How about extracting vocals?

Actually It's quite easy to extract vocals IF! you also have the song in an instrumental version. Thesame goes for remove vocals from a song, If you have the acapella you just have to push a fewbuttons in any program like wavelab etc. to remove it.
This is the only thecnique I really trust, haven't tried any good program that can extract or remove vocals from a song. |

I am guessing here we are talking about the phase of the wave. If two identical waveforms coexist with diffirent phase then the result will be silence. Something like what hapens to matter and antimatter when they enter the same space. So I guees you will need to take the vocals invert its phase and mix it with the song to get the song without the voice or do the same with the song without vocal inverted mixied with the song to get the vocal.
