I think he covered the most essential, and even more subgenres in a really good and accurate way.
It must be impossible to make a guide without being more or less biased.

I tell you one more thing which is very true. I have a CD called Absolute Dance 6, from 94 or something. One of the songs at that CD is called Rednex - Cotton Eye Joe... Don't think it fits your guys description of what dance is supposed to be
