The only reason why you wouldn't wanna do that all the time is because it takes much memory. Piano soundfonts are over 20Mb (at least those that I use) and two of them would make my poor computer's CPU up to 80 or something, especially with reverb and other instruments...

Maybe you don't wanna know that The Grand is 1 GB in size, not to mention EW Boesendorfer ranging up to 1,6 GB if I'm not mistaking. And there are bigger ones out there aswell.

Bear in mind chaps, an instrument is only as good as its player.
Having a great piano sound is one thing, but its the way its performed and subsequently delivered that really matters.

soundfont?! hey guys you're old skool, really.. i thought that such things were obsolete already..
i use any decent sample pack.. the key is to use the right fxs/processor to get the tone needed, i love to make the sound monophonic for example..
